FREE Water + Energy Saving Kits

Tap by Tap offers FREE Water and Energy Saving Kits to local residents in participating communities. Kits typically include a high efficiency showerhead, and aerators for your kitchen and bathroom faucets.

With the easy installation of your new fixtures, you’ll be enjoying the same steady flow showers and clean dishes but with lower energy bills. Definitely win-win.   Plus, by participating in Tap by Tap, you’re doing even more good deeds – like reducing greenhouse gases (those generated by your water heating fuel), reducing strain on local water treatment facilities and extending your community’s natural water supply.

Program Delivery and Sponsorship

Tap by Tap is a program of the non-profit organization City Green Solutions. The Tap by Tap program was piloted in the District of Saanich in 2011 with the financial support and leadership of the District of Saanich, the Capital Regional District and Fortis BC.

Tap by Tap Okanagan-Similkameen is delivered through a sponsorship with Fortis BC.

Tap by Tap Colwood is delivered through a partnership with Solar Colwood and the Capital Regional District.
